To unite Pastors and Churches
Both denominational and non-denominational, who are like-minded in our passion to see the Kingdom of God impact the Southwest Florida region.
To fulfill Psalm 133
The heart of the Father, as well as John 17:22, understanding that Jesus gave us His glory so we would become one as He and the Father are one.
To become the voice of the Lord in this Region
Speak-ing God-given moral absolutes, taking a stand for righteousness in this season, and role-modeling the culture of Jesus to a profane and immoral generation.
To come together and fulfill our primary mandate to be the kings and priests for this region.
To worship our heavenly Father in unity through times of corporate worship.
To Join Together
To meet the needs of the many hurting people in our community by loving and caring for them in tangible ways. We can do a whole lot more together than we can by ourselves.
To fulfill Ephesians 4:16&17
Realizing that the Body of Christ is not just your church or mine, but all local churches coming together, growing into maturity, with Jesus as our head. Together, we will be strengthened, encouraged and begin to walk in greater anointing than we ever could alone.
Vision
- To have regularly scheduled times of fellowship to maintain a spirit of unity. These gatherings will be a time to pray, worship and to share what we believe the Holy Spirit is doing in our midst . Together we will seek God’s heartbeat and function as a Holy Spirit “think tank” for our region.
- To implement the regional strategies of the Holy Spirit as a unified Body of Christ. To go outside the walls of the church and be the expression of Jesus to a lost and dying world, through times of corporate prayer, worship, community out-reaches, food and clothing giveaways or other creative ways.
- To impact this region with the glory of the kingdom and presence of God in every way possible. As we role model a loving God who brings all nations, tribes and tongues together, we can be a testimony to the healing power of His love to a community divided by racism and prejudice.
These are perilous times and the world is becoming darker, more fearful and confused. As the foundations continue to crumble, they will be searching for answers and, together, SWFL Pastors, Leaders & Churches Association will be equipped to give them the answer.
Together, we can take this region for the glory of God!
